CULTIVATION THEORY.
My niece Hans used to be very afraid of bats. It came to a point that he would cry. Bats don't even go near people. He calls the bats vampires. All of us in the house keep on wondering where he got that idea. His mom eventually found out that he was watching Tagalog horror movies and even the superhero batman made him fear bats. He would scream all the time, "Bampira, Bampira!!". It was annoying and at the same time we were really worried about his behavior. These vampire and bat shows that he watched was really the culprit because when his mom started to censor his TV watching his fear of bats got weaker and weaker until it vanished.
